Iolana looked down at her sling and then back up at the ottermaid, grinning and stepping around Allicloud. "I had a feeling I'd be needing it," she said. "I, er, I had a dream... nevermind. But where are you lot going?"
[OOC-oh, I have a question. Will one-liners get things thrown at me?]]
OOC; yes they will. (I've got a pie and I'm not afraid to use it!) Try to keep your posts to at the BARE-bones minimum 50 words. =) Wow, I like the way you RP Lissy. That line about mice and slings was good; brilliant in fact! ^^ And yes, we shall RP this one through and through! -btw, everyone this is Iolana, I invited her to this RP, Iolana, this is everyone. =)
BIC; *Elip hauled his bag over his shoulder, it was not very heavy, but this position was comfortable for him; it also allowed him to use his free paw to enjoy a bag of skittles. (let me dream) Allicloud and Lissy were correct, it was time to get going. Putting the half empty bag of candy into his pocket, Elip bent down and picked up his supply sack, placing the one for his food in it; he then slung the sack around his shoulder.* That is a truly interesting dream Liss, in fact I think you may have just solved a part of the puzzle Martin gave me!...let's get on the jolly road, wot, we'll talk more HUH! *Elip started when he saw Iolana, thinking at first that she was one of the Elders. But seeing as she was not old, and he knew the mousemaid quite well, Elip stood up and waved hello.* Well m'gel, we're head out of the jolly door as of now. Got to get out of here before the bloomin' elders show up, wot! *Elip paused for a moment, the words Iolana had spoken now becoming clear.* It would appear as if quite a few of us have had visitations from Martin, but walk now ask question later, wot! Foller' me, 'tis the outer path or the Elders, freedom or spankin', wot! *Elip's ears could pick up the sounds of the Elders talking, it was indeed coming closer. He went by Allicloud, taking a look out of the door and then motioning back to Lissy and Iolana.* Liss, Iolana, we've got to leave NOW, before they round the hall c'mon! *Elip jetted, speeding straight pass the hallway the Elders were waling up and straight out to Great Hall in a handful of bounds. There was a small call from on of the Elders in the hallway.*
Slow down young 'un! Keep those paws under yer 'afore you run into somebeast!
*Elip turned to his friends, motioning with his paw for that it was their turn.*
[ooc - *waves* hi everyone! Um... *backs away from pie* ...I'lll just, uh, type some more, then! xD ] bic-
Iolana raised her eyebrows when Elip spoke. "From Martin...? Really? ....er, spanking?" she couldn't help giggling at the hare's garrulous nature, and clamped both paws over her mouth as he shot past her out the door. She ducked inside the kitchen door quickly when she heard one of the elders call out to Elip, then scuttled back out a tad guiltily when he motioned for the others. "Guess we'd better hurry if we don't want to be caught!" she whispered to her new companions, still grinning. Normally, Iolana wasn't one for sudden spur-of-the-moment tasks, but she could feel the wordless anticipation and importance of this mission between them, and her adventurous spirit arose. Plus, she wanted answers. "Here goes nothing!" She added quickly, and broke into a sprint. Unfortunately, she stumbled over one of her sandals and ended up taking a running dive across the hall the elders were in, sliding across on her stomach and landing in a rather ungainly heap next to Elip. Righting herself quickly, Iolana flattened herself along the wall and looked back at the others.
BIC: Lisolette eyes turned into slits as it was her turn to dart through the halls. She ran as fast as she could through the hall, keeping as close to the wall as she could. The ottermaid was about to pass the Elders when suddenly the burly Skipper of otters put an oaken pedestal in her path. A pretty mousemaid, a sister of Redwall, put a vase with five, bueatiful roses on it, NO! Lissy screamed in her head. She tried to swirve into the other side of the hall, but she was going to fast. No, no, no... The pedestal grew closer and closer, and with every pawstep, mayhem was got ready to pounce on the warrior...
No! Not today! Lissy thought with a small growl. She was a foot away from disaster when she jumped, high. Lisolette went over the roses and the pedestal they stood upon. The ottermaid did a frontflip when she was over the vase and the pedestal in mid-flight, and a foot from the pedestal she gracefully landed. With a shake of her rudder, Lisolette continued to dart to her friends on the other side of the hall. She dared a glance at her shoulder-none of the Elders, nor the Skipper and mousemaid, saw her, surprisingly, For the best... Lissy thought until skidding to a halt by Elip and Iolana.
She crouched down, a smiling, "Well, that was fun..."
[[OOC - Hahaha! We're all crossing the hall in various interesting ways. X'D ]]
Iolana tensed when Lisolette started to run, and gasped when her path was blocked. "She won't make it...!" she said in a strained whisper to Elip. But then Lisolette jumped, and Iolana let out a small sigh of relief when she joined the growing party. This was already turning into an adventure, and they weren't even out of the abbey! "Wow!" she mouthed to Lisolette as she crouched beside them. In reply to Lisolette's smiling statement, she whispered, "I really thought you were a goner for a second there!"
Almost all of them were across the hall now, and it would only get harder to cross as the seconds ticked by. Iolana looked anxiously at the kitchen door, then back at her companions. As exciting as this was, she knew they couldn't wait long, or, as Elip had said, the adventure would be over before it had even started, and Iolana had a growing need to know what exactly this was all about.

Allicloud looked across the halway to the other beasts, all beckoning for him to cross, and quickly. Allicloud knew that crossing quickly and quietly would be easy for an experienced woodsbeast, were he in a forest. But in a hallway, things were very different. Then, his mind went back to a young rat he had known during his brief travels in the steaming jungles of the East. An odd fellow he was, dressing in black, never saying more than he needed to. Not to mention the way that by crouching or standing still, he could vanish. Remembering a trick he had been taught by that rat, of escaping unnoticed. Plucking up his courage, he ducked down on all fours, and like a newt or a lizard, he crawled flat on his belly, sack and blade balanced on his back, held a hair's breadth up off the floor by his claws. he held his breath as he saw the Elders rounding the corner. It would be a few seconds and he would be spotted! But he was just fast enough, and reached the doorway to Great Hall. Getting up, he ran to his group as silently as possible.
"Right, I think that's all of us. Now we really gotta get movin'! The Elders are right behind me! Until we get outta the Abbey, we'll have to run fer it. Straight to the door, over the grounds and out the gate!"
Hey there! A long-time Redwall-fan, first time Redwall-RPer.
"Nice crawl, mate." Lisolette said with a smile, and then Allicloud started getting agnsty again. Lissy frowned, and with a serious glimmer in her eyes she nudged open the door to the Great Hall. The sound of a fat dormouse kitchen helper welcomed them, "We've been looking everywhere for ye! Where 'ave ye been!?"
Lisolette poked her head in to see the dormouse talking to her best friend, Serra. They stood under a threshold without a door. She looked over her shoulder and nodded to her friends, "Keep very low and keep to the wall, okay?" Lissy whispered before leading them into the room.
"I was...um..." Serra scratch the back of her neck as the four friends crept into the room.
"Well, if ye got nothin' to say, then shut up and get to the kitchens! Friar Flour has been lookin' everywhere fer ye!" The dormouse growled. Serra nodded and turned around before padding away, the dormouse and his rebuking following her.
Lisolette shook her head, "Poor mate..." She sighed.

Shade was just walking out of the kitchen when she saw them all sneaking across the hall, bringing her haversack of food, she came closer. Looking around, she came over to the side where the others were.
"Watcha' doin?" She asked. She noticed the weapons and food and her eyebrows raised. "Hmmm... Sneaking out of the abbey?" She whispered, her eyes twinkling.
Lisolette looked over her shoulder and bristled at the sight of the black squirrelmaid, Shade, NO! WE'VE BEEN CUAGHT!! She sucked in her lips as she though this, All that fer nothin'! The ottermaid thought, remembering the dash through the hallway. Lissy glanced at the others, before answering.
"Playing..." That was for the first thing that came to mind, "We were playing. Now please, keep quiet!"
Iolana breathed a silent sigh of relief once Allicloud was across. That had been a close one; to his statement, she nodded once, seriously. Getting through Great Hall might not be as easy, though, she thought, following Lisolette and listening to the dormouse and Serra conversing.
As they entered Great Hall, Iolana kept close to her comrades, and had just begun to think they would make it out without being caught when Shade's voice almost startled her out of her fur. She spun around to face her.
"W-we'll tell you if you don't give us away!" She gasped in a strained whisper, almost a squeak, ignoring the fact that she herself still didn't know the full reason why they were leaving the Abbey.
[[OOC - hehe, Iolana panics. Hi Malum! Where'd Elip go?]]
OOC; still here. 'ello everybeast, sorry I'm late on the reply. ^^
BIC; *Elip was already planning the dash across the Abbey lawns, he knew good and well that it would be close to no trouble for Allicloud to get across the hall. He was right, just as and idea popped up in his head, Elip could hear Allicloud's voice coming from close by.*
"Right, I think that's all of us. Now we really gotta get movin'! The Elders are right behind me! Until we get outta the Abbey, we'll have to run fer it. Straight to the door, over the grounds and out the gate!"
*Elip nodded to his friend.* We'll be runnin' alright, but certainly not through the main gates, wot! Come out an' look over by the East Gate, some mole are doing underground work over there. I'm guessing they're retrieving the Abbot's slipper that the Skipper and the dibbuns buried underground the other day. *Elip stepped out of Great Hall, he squinted his eyes to block out some of the rising sunlight, witch sniped him in the face.*
I say we've got a jolly fairer chance skirtin' a small group o' underground moles than we do the packs of Elders on the Abbey Lawns, wot! Are ya' EEK! *Elip turned to ask a final question to his friends when he noticed the Elders coming their way, holding a few platters of tea and cakes. He sped out of Great Hall and stood on the outside of the Abbey, his back against the door as he spoke to his friends who were still inside.* C'mon, the Elders are pretty much on ya' blinkin' heads!
Iolana's head whipped around when Elip pointed out the elders with cakes, then she, also, ran to the door and ducked outside, saying quickly to Shade, "C'mon if you want, but we've got to hurry!" Outside, the mouse sister, like Elip, was almost blinded by the sudden sunlight. She blinked rapidly, looking toward the east wall. Sure enough, the moles were there, digging about. So that's what Skipper and those young rascals had been up to yesterday...
"Even if there are fewer of them, we'll still have to be quick," she murmured, adjusting her sling antsily and glancing back at the others. "If they happen to sight us we'll have to stop here for sure!"
"Why wouldn't I be quick?" She said, following silently and and listening.
"If you want to get rid of them just tell them something has happened at the otherside of the abbey." shade said, smiling. "If I know them, just tell them that you heard that someone spotted a vermin over there, and that it might be from a horde..." She said.

Or we could just push them outta the way and run, thought Allicloud, as he watched the moles. He was about twice as tall as a mole, so he could probably manage it.....but the others wouldn't condone it, being Redwallers they wouldn't stand for violence. He knelt down behind a barrel and thought. It had been a while since he had last been outside the Abbey, out in the wild. The very thought of it made his heart pound.
Hey there! A long-time Redwall-fan, first time Redwall-RPer.
"So, how do we get out?" Shade asked, watching the moles wanderaroound. "We could just run, or make a commotion on the other side of the abbey..." Shade said.
