Visit to the Mountain Fortress

[Elip]

*Elip made a small frown when he saw that Ringa was guarding her food. After all, what was the point of eating with friends if they protected their food!? Just as Elip began to try reaching past Ringa's guard, the ship jerked sharply. Elip was thrown ont ot he other side of the table. Food, plates, and hares were all over the floor and tables from the sudden hard jerk.* AAAAH! Ouch! What in the bally heck was that!?! *The young hare went over to Ringa* Are you ok m'gel?

[Paprica]

*Ringa bonked her head on the table when the ship rocked.* Oww.... I'm fine... *Ringa felt the bump on her head. It wasn't very large. She sniffed when she saw the remains of her food.* My pudding.... *Ringa put a hand on her heart in memory of her fallen pudding-thing.*

[Elip]

*Elip tugged at Ringa's hand as he headed to the top deck.* C'mon I say, let's flipin' well find out what's going on, wot!

[Paprica]

But my head hurts.... *Ringa whined pathetically. They emerged on the main deck to see the crew in disarray and all sorts of stuff strewn around the deck.* What happened? Did we hit a reef? I have to map it! *Ringa dived into her bag, somewhat hesitantly.*

[Elip]

*the crew of the ship were in somewhat disarray. Everybeast running madly about, most attending to duties while others seemed to be panicked. Elip wanted to continue around the deck and find out what was going on, but upon hearing Ringa mention her head, he turned around, gently holding her steady as he looked at the bump on her head.* Well, let's walk slowly. What's happened is even though your body's no longer movin', ya' brain is still feeling a light spin in ya' noggin. You may get very dizzy before the affect goes away. *Elip helped his friend to the rail of the boat, almost as if she couldn't get there herself.* Here now, we'll sit here until..oh MY! *While speaking, Elip had taken a peak over the deck railing, in the water was what they hit. It was a very big ship. The waters were a light velvet, obviously deep red not long before; and a few vermin bodies were caught in the ship wreckage. Elip noticed a couple things about the wreckage that made him certain of something. Jumping up he screamed consciencelessly.* THIS IS THE WRECKAGE OF THE SHIP THE VERMIN WERE USING WHO KIDNAPPED MY MOTHER!!!!!

[Paprica]

*Ringa put her hand on her mouth. Oh my god, she thought. She looked at Elip, trying to stay calm.* Hey, it's okay... Your mom might not be on there... *Ringa started to hyperventilate as the world started to swim in front of her.* Just... stay calm... *She panted in between words, arms out in front of her, swaying.*

[Elip]

Elip stood at the edge of the ship, looking out at an island that was fairly plain in view.* I bet my mom and the surviving vermin made it over there! We should tell marm Cregg Rose... *The badger Lady in question seemed to come up out of nowhere behind Elip. She she hit the railing roughly, sending some splinters in the air as she spoke.*

[Paprica]

Send out longboats to the island! Search the ship for survivors! *Cregga barked out orders left and right. Her booming voice did nothing to ease Ringa's throbbing head. She stumbled away from the railing and sat down on the deck. Whenever Ringa was sad or angry or scared she held onto her bushy squirrel tail for support; that was exactly what she did now.*

[Elip]

*Elip had forgotten that RInga's head was hurting. He tugged at her hands, trying to get her to a longboat.* C'mon RInga, we have to get aboard ship! My mom could also very well be in the wreckage!

[Paprica]

Okay... *Ringa followed Elip reluctantly. They got into a longboat and were slowly lowered into the water. Ringa glanced worriedly at Elip. She could see the strain he was under. She remembered her dilemma from a season ago as well. She clutched at the pendant around her neck.*

[Riveneye]

OOC: Oh yea I'm back It's hard to be on three rp sites. Well I'll try to be more active.

*As the logboat was lowered Riveneye kept glancing over the wreckage for a sign of life. He was determined to help his friend find his mother. He didn't want the pain that he had went through fall onto someone else.*

[Elip]

*Elip sat very still. Split between two frames of mind. On one hand, his mother may have sunk with the ship, possibly still alive in some room on its bottom deck, which could be filling with water at every passing second. While on the other hand, his mother could be being taken away by the vermin on the island to who knows where, and obviously still being treated as a slave. Either situation was not good and needed immediate attention, but Elip was completely unsure of which he should turn his attention to first. Should he stay and search for his mother in the wreckage or get on land as fast as he could and try to track down the vermin?! A muffled UM was all he could get out as he sat in the long boat. The pressure he was putting on himself was almost enough to make him faint. But deep inside, something told him that his mother had made it on land as was not drowning or had not drowned in the wreckage. Elip took a paddle from one of the lead rowers, starting out a dogged pace as he headed the ship towards the land.* Riven, Ringa, help me paddle! I know my mother's alive an' on land, please!

[Riveneye]

*Quickly taking a paddle Riveneye tried to match pace with Elip. He had this feeling deep down that Elip's mother was alive somewhere. He just didn't know where.*

[Paprica]

OOC: Hey, Riv, what's your AV??

*Ringa was in full pout, lower lip in full protrusion, a sour look on her face. She paddled half heartedly, kind of guilty for not paddling harder, she wanted to help Elip but her head hurt so she couldn't think straight. It was either she was exaggerating the pain or her mind was scrambled.*

[Riveneye]

OOC: It's the main char from the harvest moon game series.

BIC: *Tension had filled up Riveneyes mind. He was so nervous at the outcome. All Riven could think of was what they might find at any moment. He suddenly relized that he had not see any dead vermin yet. Which must have meant that they all got away. This put his mind at ease, but only for a moment.*

OOC: That's right first time I've ever called myself Riven. I've always wanted to work it in a sentence where it sounded fine.
