Yesh. I'm really sorry about how late this is, but my history teacher has started assigning double homework for some unpleasant and unfathomable reason (well, quite fathomable, but still unpleasant- he wants to finish Ancient History before Spring Holidays) and I seem to have gone (hopefully) temporarily braindead. Please keep that in account when you read this, and don't kill me for the lameness. Your char is in Redwall Abbey. (please, please, just use a good char, not a baddie, otherwise it'll be terrible and wreak much havoc and not make any sense) It's a rainy, early Spring afternoon and they can't go outside, and they have absolutely nothing to do. What do they do to entertain themself?

*Paprica sat on the windowsill staring glumly out at the rain. And rain it did, sheets of it pouring down incessantly on the earth below. No thunder, no lightning, just wet and lots of it. It would have been okay if it was, well, water, in a pond or a lake or something like that. Paprica would have liked that, she could do something with that. But cooped up in this tiny abbey made her freak out. ...Okay, the abbey wasn't tiny, but Paprica hated the feeling of being indoors and being unable to touch the sky. All in all, rain was boring.*Someone looking up at the abbey from the grounds could have seen the figure of Paprica in the windowsill. She sat there looking at the east wall, parallel with the ramparts. For the first half of her morning, she had been hounded by shrieking munchkins of incredible annoyance. Ringa was one of them. It was fine for the squirrelmaid, she liked being around the whiny brats. Paprica couldn't stand them. They were always asking for something, being loud, annoying, and, quite frankly, gross. So Paprica had escaped up into the lower attics; no one had disturbed her since. Probably because she had shouted at them to shut up. Oh well, she'll let Ringa take care of it. *She sat there brooding and staring at the rain, hating nature for the most part, until her footpaw fell asleep and her stomach started growling. She got up, walked around the empty room so the blood circulated into her paw again, and went downstairs. The dibbuns were screeching again, and Paprica went in the opposite way they were going. She went to the kitchens, swiped a biscuit left over from breakfast, and went out into the great hall, avoiding any creature resembling a small, furry midget of great annoyance. She stopped in front of Martin's tapestry, and, having nothing better to do, she sat down and stared at the dust falling down. Really, she thought. How much dust can an abbey have?* Paprica... Paprica.... Paprica! *A paw reached out and poked Paprica's face. She was startled awake by Ringa's laugh.* Ringa, you... *Paprica didn't finish her threat. She stared out the window at the bright, albeit sodden, grounds.* The rain's stopped. Yep! *Ringa smiled and helped Paprica up.* That's why I came to get you. Come outside with us! *Paprica stopped in her tracks.* Us? *She said warily.* *Ringa giggled as two dibbuns appeared from behind her.* You can't get away from us! *She said, and the two dibbuns laughed. Seeing Paprica's expression, they screamed/laughed and ran toward the open abbey doors, with Ringa in tow. Paprica sighed and followed them out the door. She looked back at the dim figure of Martin the Warrior. Goodbye to rainy days, huh? Paprica smiled at the figure, and turned out onto the sunlit grounds.* OOC: I guess Paprica broods on rainy days?

Sera the badger was in the kitchens, cooking. It wasn't time to cook, but with Lisolette away to an awful, scum infested tavern, and not really wanting to go herself, the badger did her job as an Undercook...and...well...cook! She felt bad about lying to her best friend about having to cook something, just so she won't go with her to some tavern, but Sera felt that if she cooked, she wouldn't really be lying. Sera pulled out some Vegetable Pasties out of the oven, and with a sniff of delight, placed it on the table. "Time to put in those Apple Turnovers...Lissy will like that...Might brighten up her mood after being in that awful tavern!" The badger chuckled to herself before putting the pastries into the oven. Sera's concious knew that she was just doing that to make herself feel better, but she pushed the very idea of it away. When Sera turned around, a pasty was gone! "Huh! What happened!?" She cried looking around frantically. A small giggle could be barely heard, and with a smirk, the badger-maid stealthily but quickly followed the giggle. There, she confronted a mousebabe, about to put a Vegetable Pasty in his mouth. "Smilo! How dare you!" She growled and snatched the pasty away. The mousebabe called Smilo whimpered, knowing that unlike the other adults that Sera gave no mercy to stealing Dibbuns. "A good smack on the rum, helping me with the cooking and cleaning up the dishes and the kitchen oughta teach you!" Smilo whimpered as Sera scooped him up with one paw, the pasty in the other. "Please, don' whap me, Miz Sewa! I wuz just hungey!" The mousebabe pleaded, but Sera only responded after she brought back the pastry. "Hmph! Sniveling about like Vermin, stealing food from each other! None of that in THIS Abbey!" Sera growled, "Just be glad it's one spank!" But when it was dealt with, poor Smilo felt like he had taken fifty spanking! (ooc: Like most badger-maids, Sera is stern with children. Mrr...All these characters I make in these things...they make me want to RP them outside of here!! D: )
