ooc: just a intro I'll make a thread where my character enter Mossflower X3 hope you like.
bic:
Charlie twitched his footpaw as Aeka pulled the last of the sticker barbs out. He gritted his teeth and yelped "Aawha!!" He grabbed his foot and rubbed it as his eyes teared up slightly. The otter patted her mates shoulder "Come now Charlie it wusn't that bad now" the white arctic fox shook his head as he looked over his paw "Jah! How's about I throw you in a patch and ven tell me it vusn't dat bad!" he scowled. Aeka looked at his friend sympathetically and sighed "Sorry matey how's about we rest that footpaw of yours I'll fix us some warm vittles" The pure white beast smiled at that notion and clapped happily "Vittles sounds just right for a hurt beast"
After heating some stones to warm their food and pot the two chattered amongst one another contently. They had a spread of warm pine-nut cakes glazed with maple syrup, black peppered snow crab soup with green onion and black peppered bark, with a cool beaker of cranberry fizz. Charlie had to guzzle water along with his tart cranberry fizz in between bites of the crab soup. He gasped waving his hand on his tongue. "Aeka you sure put a lot of pepper bark in dat soup, Jah" the otter maid took a sip of the soup with ease in the wooden bowl. The spice warmed her mouth and stomach but also made it homesick. "Well that's because we just about finished all the food we got when we left home... we've just got a few pieces of black pepper bark and some cranberry fizz . . ." Charlie laid his bowl and beaker down and grabbed his violin and laid it to his shoulder "Well ya still got dis fox and his music"
He brought the instrument on his shoulder and held it comfortably. His bow arched across it as he played an old melody of their village. Aeka closed her eyes as she finished off the last of the soup. The smell brought her to the warm cave with the hot spring inside. The babes laughing and playing with one another. The sound of voices calling out to one another and greeting the sled team from returning from the deep timbers. The song was an old one sung to the young and old. Aeka couldn't help but let her voice chorus along with it.
" Candlelight flicker, the day has end
Forever Winter will now begin,
Come close sweet babe and shut yon eyes
Let your dreams go and rise,
Do not let the cold scare yon heart
It brings us closer then apart,
Candlelight flicker, the snow will melt
And a warm feeling shall be felt,
Short Summer, how I wish you stayed
we do grow sad when you fade,
Seasons come and go
that we always know,
At night we see a light above,
glowing with all our love"
Charlie finished his beautiful violin solo and he knew Aeka was threw with the break. Silently the two repacked and continued down the path to Redwall where Aeka stopped suddenly. Charlie stopped as well and looked behind him to wards her as the light brown colored otter looked off ward until her eyes met the others. Then as a show of respect among the tribes she tapped her heart three times and then her cheek. Charlie smiled at his friend as she smiled back as well and the two continued to Redwall unknown of what they would encounter.
