*Gandolf placed a comforting hand on Luna's shoulder.* Thou art safe now, in short, that Valley is called the Shadow of Death, those beings are known as the white shadows. Therefore it is easy to connect the lines...*Gandolf stopped speaking, his voice trailing off as he looked around watchfully, holding Torah with both hands.* Luna, are you hurt? We must get out of here. The scroll you have brought to me doth contain great power, we must be quick of feet and to our destination. I feel dark magic in the air. *All of the followers who had sat down relaxedly on the ground suddenly stood up and were ready to move. No one noticing Gandolf's sensing of dark magic timed with Jiduss' exit of the Valley.

OOC: Oh noes!!! Foreshadowing!!!! >0<
BIC: I'm fine. *Luna stood up on slightly shaky legs. Her body wasn't harmed by the white shadows but her mind was still clearing the fog created by the spirits. Luna felt embarrassed about her episode in front of Gandolfs entire team/party/following/thing ((I didn't know what to put!!!)). As Jiduss came closer to the group, a cold breeze came from his direction. Luna shivered involuntarily. Jiduss was different from the rest, even an outsider like Luna could've guessed that.*

OOC: Jiduss is going to betray someone. Gandolf perhaps. Elip has created a mini chronicles of Narinia. Using characters to represent christian figures.
All of the area seemed covered in fog. What could be seen through the fog was the looks on the miserable farmers faces as the tried to till the barren soil that covered so much of the countryside. In the small village most of the disgruntled farmers drank there problems away almost every day. Like everynight the tiny tavern was crowded with drunks. The doors of the tavern slammed shut as a person, whose face was hooded by a gray cloak, walked in. This was the first sober person that had been in the town in awhile. The stranger helped himself to his drink, seeings how the bartender was passed out against the counter. Never taking off his hood, the only thing that was visible was his lips. He watched for a moment a particular person dancing on a platform then stood by him. It took the large man several seconds to see the stranger.
"What can I do for ya." One of the strangers eye's reflected in the light giving short gleam in the hood. He turned around and sheathed his odd crooked hilt sword, that no one had even seen drawn. The room froze and the head of the man hit the floor. Several people started shouting at the subtleness of the kill.
"What was that for! Why did he just go and whack off Old John."
The shouts of anger turned to screams as the head of their friend turned into the head of a hideous monster. The ugly creature looked back up and the stranger as it's eyes clouded.
"How did you know. No one would have ever found me out. I could have kept on devouring people around this town and still gone unnoticed. What are you."
The stranger started to stride out of the bar smiling through his hood and speaking for the first time since his arrival.
"My name is Seth the White light mercenary. There's no charge for this one by the way folks."
Just as quickly as he'd come the stanger vanished back into the mists.

ooc: You might be waiting for Elip for awhile. I'll just edit this post in awhile and continue my part. What do you need Elip for your character by the way.

OOC: Well, Luna is traveling with them temporarily, and she's kinda useless on her own. I mean, she can stand her own against footpads and thieves, maybe the young dragon or two, but she's kinda useless against ghouls. Plus, she has some questions for Gandolf. Basically saying what the heck is that scroll and why did you endanger my life, etc; etc;

ooc; Elip is in the house!
*Lucken was beside Luna, trying to steady her as she stood, trying not to show that he was severely concerned. Lucken looked Luna in the eyes, asking rather emotionally.* I hope those creatures didn't give you too much o' a scare. Did one touch you, can you move?!
*Gandolf grunted slightly to hide a smile, Lucken could be overly emotional and dramatic at times. However, this was a special overly dramatic, it seemed obvious to the wise, old wizard that Lucken was very smitten with Luna. Gandolf would make it a point to speak with Lucken on the matter at some other time, but right now was the time to move. Turning to his followers, Gandolf spoke.* Sons of Thunder, hearken to me. *Stepping out in front of the rest was Joohn and Lacob, both brothers nodded their heads in acknowledgement that they had been called. Gandolf opened Torah, its pages flipping neatly to the desired spot.* This is a friend whom I bid to aid us in our journey. I spake for her to follow your sign so that she could know how wherefore to find us.
*Both broad shouldered brothers nodded again, rarely did they ever speak, unless they thought it necessary. They both stood within arm distance of each other, spreading their arms halfway out, they looked at the skies and began speaking spells in low whispers. The air became filled with static, and the slight sound of electricity hummed through the air. Lacob asked one last question to Gandolf, his deep bass voice much louder than the static noise of he and his brother's magic power.* And what, pray, is this lassie's name Gandolf?
*Gandolf replied, having to raise his voice a bit to be heard.* Nyx Shadestock! *As soon as the words were heard from Gandolf's mouth, the Sons of Thunder boomed up into the air, both seeming to be standing on a cloud that was pulsing with electricity. Far above the heads of those watching on the ground, they stood side-by-side on the cloud, surrounded by the blue of the sky, touching right to left fist and having their other fist spread out from their bodies, they quoted spells of thunder and sent truly magnificent illustrations of booming thunder into the air. The sky flashed an electric blue as the light of their thunder outshone that of the sun. As the brothers came back down to earth, they pulled their fists apart and the thunder stopped. They were still quoting their spells as they landed safely on the ground, pure energy and light giving them the complexion of angels. As the energy around them dimmed down, and the noise with it, the last word of their spells could be heard, their combined voices echoing stoutly through the static ladened air.* Amen!
*Gandolf looked up at the sky, heavy storm clouds were clumped in one area far above his head spelling the name "Nyx". Truly Lacob and Joohn were called the Sons of Thunder for a reason, Gandolf was sure they reached Nyx and maybe even another friend*
ooc; There, now it is easy for both you Riven and Vela to come in. LET'S GET READY TO RPeeeee! >XD

OOC: XD
BIC: *The small tavern was silent for two moments before breaking out into screams. Many rushed to inspect the body of Old John the bartender. Others left. The two silent figures sat in a booth in the back of the bar. Both were dressed in traveling cloaks and boots. The larger, a dark haired teenager, carried a sword. The other, a child of seven, sat serenely in the chaos sipping milk.*
See, Sylth? *She said to her companion.* I told you.
*Her stoic companion frowned.* You told me nothing. You only said this was where the action was going to be. We shouldn't have come. *He crossed his arms in silence.*
*The girl giggled. She took a sip of milk.* That faerie is only one piece of the puzzle. But, *She paused, looking pleadingly at Slythfarn.* In the woods something bigger is happening. Something important. It's our duty to ensure the safety of the world, right?
*Sylth looked doubtfully at the girl. From anyone else's point of view it would have looked like he was brooding. But Mel knew better.* You said that when you wanted to buy that dress in Calco.
*Mel smiled sheepishly.* It was pretty! *Mel looked out the door that the Seth the Mercenary went out.* But that faerie won't know where to go. He'll miss the action and it may possibly plunge the world into ruin. I can see it happening. *Mel patted the earthy-green stone in her pocket.*
*Sylth sighed. He knew that things were getting from bad to worse everywhere. Wars and rebellions were becoming daily recurrences. Poverty and illness were everywhere. Mel's predictions where almost always accurate. "Plunging into ruin" didn't sound very pleasant. He sighed. He knew that Mel was going to get her way anyway. She was the only thing that can make him say yes. What power she had.* Fine.
*Mel smiled.* Yay! Let's go! *She slipped out of the booth and across the bar with Sylth close behind. At the door Sylth asked,* What do you plan to do?
*She turned and smiled cheekily at Sylth.* Something you'll enjoy. <3
*That wasn't good.*
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
*Meanwhile, in the woods Luna looked on as bolts of electricity arched across the sky. She could feel the static in the air. Her shoulder length hair was rising and sticking to her face and clothes. She felt terrible awe at the sight. Compared to Gandolf's followers, she was weak. She felt so terribly small in the torrent of electricity.*
Seth waited till he had walked what he hoped was a fair distance from the tavern. He could never be too sure with the way this land was and the fog this evening. Back and forth, he rubbed his blade on the ground till the blade was clean again. Stupid land was so filled with monsters and demons. He could vividly remeber the golden years several hundred years ago. Now the world around was plunged into war and chaos. You could barely even trust your neighbor fearing that he might eat or kill you too. He took off the cloak and and leaned against the rock, covering himself with the cloak. His face was a healthy color and he had short blonde hair. But the most distinctive part of his face was his light almost silver eyes. That seemed to shine in the moonless night.
OOC Vela, we''re kinda waiting for you
*Lucken could tell that Luna wasn't feeling too happy. And he had a good sense of why, choosing to take an optimistic approach when talking to her, he nudged her playfully.* Y'know you really shouldn't compare yourself to them, next to Gandolf they're the strongest of us all. Aren't it more wise to wait til' later time and ask Gandolf for training, I'm sure he'd be happy to once we get somewhere safe with the map. *Lucken put on a wide smile as he continued.* I just hope you don't get too strong, then I'll start feeling small!
OOC: Vela hasn't signed up yet, that was Malum. I don't know if she's active or not. What's with Lucken reading Luna's thoughts?!?!?!? O///o Uber-embarrassing, Elip!!!!!!!!
BIC: *Luna sighed.* I know, but it's not fair, though. *Luna crossed her arms and sat down with her legs crossed, looking up at the summoning above.* But I don't want to be as strong as them, though. It would make me swell-headed. There's nothing wrong with being small. *Luna didn't know why, but Lucken's comment made her irritated. So what if she was less powerful that them? It wasn't her fault.*
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
*Sylth and Mel walked out of the tavern with their plan in mind. Sylth wore a face of resignation and Mel had a face of satisfaction.* Okay, *She said.* Let's run through the plan one more time.
*Sylth sighed. He hated Mel's harebrained schemes even though they worked. Mel continued unabated.*
First, we find Seth. *A sigh from Sylth.* Then, you confront him with your flawless surprise attack. *Sylth grunted. What's flawless?* Battle ensues! ;D *Mel's really into this.* Then, when he wins he will ask what we want (sort of) *I lose?!?* And I will step in with my devilish charm and tell him all about what's going on in the forest with Gandolf! *Devilish, yes; charms, no*
*Sylth raised a hand.* One question. No, two. First, why do I fight him if I lose in the first place? Second, couldn't we ask him to come with us and avoid conflict in the first place?
*Mel paused. Then she smiled.* Because I want to place my bets, of course.
You aren't even allowed to gamble!!!!! *Sylth was yelling now. Mel laughed and trotted in the direction of Seth.* Come on, Sylth, it's really important.
*Sylth followed, his stoic features mixed with annoyance. Why me? He asked for the 54th time.*

ooc; wow, Luna has a very ignorant way of seeing things. And I don't get the not wanting to better her skills by asking Gandolf to train her, but I guess being a loner can do that to a char. I'll introduce another character later who will be a bad guy, -the bad guy of bad guys- and it will tie in with the still mysterious map and get the plot moving.

OOC: Yeah, socially smart, Luna is not. She never truly got on board with the "magic and monsters" thing. Her parents parent-pressured her into going to the magic academy in Astar, but she has a limited view on magic and magical creatures. Character wise, I like Mel and Sylth better. They are so much fun to RP!!!!! ^_^
BIC: *Luna paused, feeling Lucken's eyes on her. Oh my gosh, I'm an idiot. She blushed, fully aware of the incorrect statement she just uttered.* Um, *She stumbled out an excuse, embarrassed but gradually getting defensive.* Sorry, but I feel where I am now, magic-wise, is a good place to be. I mean, I'd never be able to do all the stuff that Joohn and Lacob are doing but I'm good in basic everyday magic, though. *She rambled on, still highly embarrassed. She was really glad that Gandolf and the others were concentrating on the summoning. She was acting like a geek, she knew it. She sighed. She was kinda fed up with the "running from monsters" bit. She got the scroll, already, what else did she need to do?*
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
*Mel and Sylth crept up behind Seth the White mercenary. Sylth was still hesitant, but Mel clapped him on the arm* Good luck and remember, the more dramatically you lose, the more he's likely to come with us.
*Sylth was still trying to figure out Mel's statement when she pushed him closer to Seth. He stumbled a bit, then regained his footing. He walked toward the cloaked figure of Seth. Is he really a faerie? He thought. The faerie forests were few and far between and most elves didn't come out of their sanctuary ever. It was really, really rare that faeries ever traveled through the human world. Then again, seer's like Mel weren't exactly common. Sylth thought of drawing his sword and confronting Seth, but Sylth knew that while Mel's predictions were accurate, she sometimes altered them a bit so she could wring some entertainment from it. Sylth decided for the more safer approach.*
Um, excuse me. *Sylth began.* We saw you at that tavern and my master would like to have some words with you. *An idea flashed through his brain.* She would like to hire you; we have money to compensate. *Sylth waited, praying that he wouldn't die. Faeries were finicky about humans and you could never tell if they'd help you or kill you.*
*Mel watched on from a safe distance. She smirked. Nice, Sylth. I knew that you're honest side would win through. Now all I have to do is pray that Seth isn't in a bad mood. An image flashed through Mel's mind. It was of the summoning that was taking place in the woods a mile away. Mel's smile grew wider as she planned ahead.*
Seth grinned at Sylth's slightly shocked face as the wind blew down the cloak and the stick that propped it up. Seth made his move stealing up behind Seth and standing still. "You sure are loud when you walk. I could feel the earth vibrate a good distance away. So you want to hire me. Well I don't really need money but no one else needs me right now so out with it. What's the job. And where's the pushy brat you had with you earlier at the tavern. I'm not blind you know. I take almost everything around me in when I look around. And I was there a good two hours before you."
*Sylth's face morphed into a blank mask.* Dunno, ask her. *He turned around and walked back to his master's side. Mel smiled at him.* Thank you, Sylth. *Sylth showed no sign that he heard her.*
*Mel skipped to Seth. She looked at him, satisfied about something. It was like she was looking at a very profitable toy.* You're gonna be my bodyguard and protect me until I get to my Aunt's house in Astar, Seths!!!!! I'm Mel, the talkative one is Sylth. I'm sure you'll get along (somewhat. . . Heheh!!!)
*Sylth did and inner facepalm. Fortunately, his face showed nothing. Sylth stared at the odd faerie, sizing him up. It would be an even fight, he guessed. Sylth was lean and wiry, but he was very fast. But the tavern episode showed that Seth was fast himself. A pretty even battle, unless the Faerie had super-powerful magic on his side.*
Sylth!! Pay the man! *Mel had turned and walked back to Sylth. When she reached Sylth's side, she said to Seth,* By the way, you must for now on call me Oh Great Mistress Mel, Seer of All. That goes for you too, Sylthfarn! <3
