6th!
This month's topic is going to have to be Mischief! It's a pretty broad subject again but I'm not giving you any ideas, I want to see what you can do with it. I'm sure it will be good.
There's no limit on how long or short, so break a leg. The prize is the same as always, two awesomesauce for the winner and one for the first to enter. Entries must be in by 28th August, I don't accept late entries because I'm mean like that. Post them right here and PM me with any questions.
Have fun!

Uggh... I gotta think of one....
Those little paws treading ever so silently, Trying to steal a treat from you and me. The glint in their eye, The treat from your alseep paws they will pry. Then, giggling like mad, They'll run upstaris and go straight to bed!
In the morn, you do wake, and discover with suprise, that you don't have your cupcake! You grumble and growl, Looking for it on your prowl. When you find with a shock, a dibbun, wearing a smock!
With a twirl, you twist of the apron, To find the soace now barren, You look to your side, and down to his face, To see a teensy tiny trace. IT'S ICING! And then you notice his stomach bulging!
That little dibbun is the thief! Oh, you faint in grief. That little twerp should be punished, For being the cuplrit who made you think your cupcake vanished! He shall be washing dishes forever! You say, running to the Mother Badger.

My poem.
By Luuk S. Backwater (Dibbun) ~Compiled by Dartpaw (Dartpaw's note: Words are misspelled on purpose)
I be a dibbun, likkle I are Me parents be wurriors trevelling far. I stay at the abbey, play what I do. Last week I hid skippers shoe.
Me mateys and I we play alla time. Me hedgepiggy friend taught me how to rhyme. I then told this poem me first ever made. At the feast and the elders seemed a little afraid.
My tail is stubby, that makes be frown. I want it be longer to trip others down. What point is being ottery it's just a big fail If I can't trip big creatures with a long muscley tail.
Rodder had one, he's older than me. He being six I only three. His tail is so long I bet not even trees are longer then the tail belonging to he.
He says just to wait, I'll be tripping them soon for now just steal from lunchtime at noon. I stealed the cake from under Abbot's nose. He said if I be bad then I never grows.
I want to be big I want them to Ooooo An tough otter Wurrior covered in Tatoos I can take all the cakes I'll want and they can't stop me I'll just say "I'm big now that's my job see"
But for now all I can do is take food and run That with me pals is a lot of good fun. But unless I can trip them I guess I'll just wait. (When I'm older and at night I can leave open the gate!! >: ) )

HoHo you have yourselves a champion poet 'ere
By Little Red Flowah I do spy A 'spicious young Sparra With her eye on the sky As I sit and I wait She does certainly hide when her mother shouts 'The hour is late and you'd best get inside'
This little young Sparra Shouts 'I be great red kite!' and picks the red flowah and i laughed at the sight for she tumble o'er backwards into a patch thorns and shouted of rat hordes and great mice with long horns!
Short but quite funny

-cue snooty, medievel-era rich man's voice- We now have here for your delectable delight a short poem based upon Edgar Allen Poe's The Raven , a horror flick out of its time that will undoubtedly make a fine example of verse where mischief is concerned. Good night, and enjoy your complimentary elderberry wine located in the jug beneath your seat. Our story begins with the Father Abbot of Redwall doing some late night kitchen work...The Steal One upon an evening cheery, while I washed up supper clearly, Humming many a tune of carefree song, unsuspecting, happ'ly thinking on things yet to be done, there came a soft scratching, scratching, as if somebeast padding, padding into the kitchen where I stood. Swiftly I turned, with intent to greet, as any abbot should--
I see only stove and wood.
I stood there silent, confused and quiet, certain I'd heard a beast. Truly I tell you I was a little spooked, but called out boldly, "Who greets me so coldly, the father abbot, without good hallo-- "come you here for treat or beer, did you hide for fear I won't allow? "Fear not, good son or gentle daughter, for I shan't point to the door."
Silence then, and nothing more.
Uncertain I remained, for a moment remained, then turned away certain after all I was just hearing things. I am old and prone to image such dreams. And so I turned back to my task at paw of putting up Friar's breakfast flan for the morn per kitchen law... I seem to have misplaced the flan -- I sat it right there, there alone...
It's not there, there with the scones.
Then alarmed was I, for I knew myself to be alone this night finishing up in the kitchens of Redwall, just abbot and food, and as food cannot get up and walk away -- or perhaps I should-- but then there's a sound at the window, rare to hear for it was low. Again I turned, marched to the window, saying, "Come out, if you would,
"I've no patience for such jokes!"
[[EDIT - I don't think I'll be able to finish this. Dx Is a partial entry "okay?" >.> -fail- ]]
