I understand... but Skipper did break Redwall's creed of "Peace first, violence later" I understand fighting unwanted vermin, but slamming a stoat who's probably around 13 into a table with a knife at his face instead of first rationally asking what he was doing there. Sorry but that was kind of harsh and extreme for any Abbey Dweller to do especially to a kid  But we did go a little far with that. *Bows* it won't happen again. |

It is so, so, so nice to see the admin person posting about again. =3 LOL, apologies for the violence above.
Now, for the debate that appears to have started: I'm actually going to agree with Vela. In all actuality, what skipper did was not extreme. There was a stranger vermin in the abbey. We can count on one hand the number of vermin that have ever done the abbey any good whatsoever. The only "violent" thing skipper did was spank him, and he had it coming, I have to say. Being cheeky and rude is outright stupid when there's a knife pointed at your face. Globby probably would have been turned out of the abbey alive if he hadn't resisted so dramatically.
There's my two cents. c:
